Servants of the Lord and the Virgin of Matara

Founded on March 19, 1988 by Fr. Carlos Miguel Buela, the Institute Servants of the Lord and the Virgin of Matará (SSVM) is the female branch of the Religious Family of the Incarnate Word. Sharing the same founder, charism and spirituality, we are indissolubly united while canonically independent. Currently, there are approximately 1000 members in 35 mission areas. They also have the contemplative branch.

In the Philippines, the sisters are working in the houses of mercy for girls in Caloocan City. They are assisting our parish in Caloocan, especially with the pro-life ministry. They also have their houses of the Formation here, both the Novitiate and the Juniorate.
